Accounts Executive

We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounts Clerk.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Supervising and supporting a small team of 2 accounts clerks
• Providing office support as and when requested
• Any other general ad-hoc tasks that may arise

• In the later stages of an ACCA qualification (or equivalent) or with significant accounting experience
• Experience in a finance department, specifically preparing management accounts
• Supervisory skills
• Assertiveness and the capability of supervising a small team as well as the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision

Heavy Plant Operator

We are offering an employment opportunity for a Labourer assisting the Electrician.

Responsibilities
The successful applicant would be using one or more of the heavy machinery used in construction such as excavator; bulldozer; road roller; etc. The successful applicant must also be willing to do any manual skilled work that may be required.

Skills/Experience
Previous experience in the construction industry will be considered an asset. Hard-working and a flexible approach is a must.

Quarry Operations Supervisor

Reporting to the Head of Quarries & Maintenance, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the asphalt and crusher plant and all of its daily operations
• Overseeing the pre-cast section and its daily operations
• Implementing and coordinating daily procedures to maintain operating efficiency.
• Assessing and maintaining production material levels
• Investigating delays, damages or accidents that may occur whilst taking corrective action and ensuring that the proper procedures are followed.

• Hands-on experience in the construction industry, preferably in a supervisory role
• Conversant in both the Maltese and English language
• A driving licence (Lic B).  Candidates with Lic. C will be considered an asset
• Basic computer skills will be considered an asset.

Skilled Labourer

The successful applicant must be willing to do manual construction work such as panel beating, rust cutting, fitter related work and any other ad-hoc work that may arise. The ideal candidate will be hard-working and have a flexible approach. Previous experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset.
